An international business leader and legal advisor, Rebecca Gaskin Gain holds a cum laude bachelor of arts in history with honors from Wake Forest University in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and a juris doctor from the Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, having completed the third-year curriculum at Columbia University School of Law. She went on to complete the Foundations in Finance Program at the Amsterdam Institute of Finance in the Netherlands, and also undertook doctoral Islamic finance coursework at the Insaniah University of Malaysia in Darul Aman and intensive Arabic language coursework at the Yemen College of Middle Eastern Studies in Sana'a. In addition to her Arab language training, Rebecca Gaskin Gain is familiar with both Czech and Italian, and fluent in French and her native English.

Over the course of her career, Ms. Gaskin Gain has directed or counseled a wide range of banking and business enterprises with a specific focus on foreign direct investment. Since 2015, she has facilitated overseas power initiatives as a principal with Nexant in Washington, D.C.
